Haunted Maryland

We enjoyed our short time spent in this beautiful state. Throughout our drive in Maryland, I thought often about the Civil War and the tragic loss of life here as a result. Numerous reports of hauntings can be found throughout this state.

One of my favorite authors, Troy Taylor, has written a number of ghostly tales from Maryland which includes: the battle of Antietam, the mystery of Edgar Allen Poe and the haunts by famed conspirator of the Lincoln assassination Mary Surratt.
