In this video, a number of Australian eyewitnesses come forward with their account of what took place in Central Coast, New South Wales from December 1995-January 1996.
Australian investigators, Bryan Dickeson and Moira McGhee, collected the reports from this mass sighting and published them in a book entitled the Gosford Files.
I have not been successful in finding this book. Anyone with more information on this incident please email me.

UFO sucking up water? Why on Earth would they want to do that? Sounds odd.
I attempted to look for the book at Amazon and found a one called Hoaxes, Myths, and Manias: Why We Need Critical Thinking by Robert E. Bartholomew and Benjamin Radford that talks about this. Maybe something to check out.
I had the strangest experience of a UFO once, with another person, so I can't be totally insane, right?!

I've never heard of this incident.. I wish I could read / see more about this particular sighting. AND it is NOT uncommon for UFO's to be seen over WATER. For what REASON I don't know but it does happen quite a bit. Several have been seen over our oceans and several even seen over the Columbia River (divides Washtingon and Oregon)

Perhaps one day soon we will know what the cause for sightings similar to this one is all about.
I am still looking for more info on this story, but have yet to come up with anything other than this video.

I live approx 60 kilometers north of this area & around the time of this sighting witnessed two UFO`s.
Both were bright white lights that descended through thick rain clouds, moved left & right then up & down(still under the cloud line) & after about twenty minutes or so ascended back up through the clouds.
I pulled of the road into a McDonald's car-park to watch this unusual event & talked to another onlooker about it- He informed me that in all his years as a pilot He had never seen anything like it.
I rang the local RAAF base when I got home & spoke to an officer in the tower- He told me nothing had shown up on the radar but I wasn't the first to contact him that night.
Maybe two months or so later two friends of mine told me they had seen several UFO`s off the coast, I showed them the video I had recorded of the TV report & both instantly agreed the craft they saw matched the one`s on the video.
In 1995 a ufo was seen hovering less than 10 feet above a wetland pond in northwest indiana, it was sucking up water from that pond,at 2:30 pm on a bright and sunny day. the craft then almost silently floated and turned hovering over a roadway where a dozen people stopped by a passing train witnessed it,it had hexagonal paneles on its underside and emmitted a blue corona or static electricity charge, once it was several hundred feet in the air it in a flash elevated itself into the sky at an incrediable speed that we could not travel at to this day.
