Growing up near the Chicago Land area, I heard stories about a mysterious women in white who has been heard sobbing and weeping behind the gates of this cemetery. Residents in the area claim that they have seen this women crying while walking among the graves with her hands over her eyes. A number of motorist have also witnessed this mysterious women in white. Over the years a number of stories have been told about who this weeping women was. Yet, no one seems to know where she has come from and why her ghost remains.
