Tombstone

As a result of it's violent history, Tombstone is said to be the most haunted place in all of Arizona. Gold and silver brought thieves, card-sharks and murderers, to name a few, to the streets of Tombstone. It's history is filled with violence and death.

The Bird Cage theater is known to have restless spirits within it's walls. The Bird Cage was a place for gambling, drinking and other unmentionable activities. The saloon is the oldest building in Tombstone and the site of 26 deaths. Many people who visit this place say they smell whiskey and cigar smoke in the air and hear strange sounds coming from the balcony. An apparition of a young man has also been seen walking across the stage wearing clothing from the 1800's.

Boot Hill Graveyard is the final resting place for many of Tombstones victims. Orbs and ghostly figures have been captured on film by tourists and ghost seekers. If you will be traveling to Tombstone, be sure not to miss these and other haunted sites in the area.
