The Devil's Footprints

On a chilly February morning in 1855, residents of Devon, England, woke up to a number of strange U-shaped hoof prints in the snow. The strange markings continued for 100 miles, measuring 4 inches long, 2.5 inches wide and eight inches apart before abruptly stopping. The prints traveled over houses, gardens, rivers, haystacks and other obstacles. These strange footprints appeared on snow-covered roof tops, over high walls and, leading up to and exiting various drain pipes of as small as a four inches in diameter! Townspeople began calling these strange prints 'The Devil's Footprints' and kept indoors the nights that followed for fear of its return.

The Book Of THoTH has more on this story including theories surrounding the appearance of the strange tracks.

Hi Steve,
Creepy isn't it!?! What are you leaning towards as to the cause of these strange tracks?
