Haunted Island

Off the southern coast of England, lies the Isle of Wight. The island is a popular tourist destination for its beautiful beaches, scenic countryside and leisure activities.

On the flip side, the island has a number of paranormal hotspots making it one of the most haunted islands in the world. Known as "Ghost Island" by some locals and paranormal investigators, the island is said to be home to hundreds of ghosts. Cloaked figures, ghost soldiers, a mysterious lady in grey and a phantom train are just some of the apparitions that have been seen here.

Read about every haunted location by using this Ghost Map of the island.

Please, explain:
If flesh is transformed into spirit and, therefore, the living can experience ghost, why are they always dressed? Are we to believe in the spiritual life of fabric?
Somehow, modesty and taste follow us into the afterlife. Is that it?

Thanks bob, I was happy to find it :)

Anonymous, good question. Thanks...
I think that there are two things going on: 1) Residual hauntings are being observed where only an imprint remains, playing over and over again like a tape recording. 2) When an intelligent apparition is seen along with its clothing, I think that we are seeing what our minds can make sense of and also accept.
