The Willard Library, located in Evansville, Indiana, is believed to be haunted by a mysterious lady in grey. The library is over a century old and its Victorian Gothic style has been well preserved over the years.
The ghost story began in 1936 when a maintenance worker quite his job after claiming to encounter a ghost while making his rounds. Since then, staff have reported seeing strange shadows move about the building, feeling cold spots and smelling musky perfume. Other phenomena reported includes: books moving by themselves, faucets turning on and lights flickering.
Although the library has been investigated on a number of occasions, no one has ever learned the true identity of the Lady in Grey. Some believe it's Louise Carpenter, daughter of the library's founder, Willard Carpenter. Due to the high number of sightings by visitors and staff, a GhostCam has been brought in for online viewers.

I wonder if she(Grey lady)won after all. She might have lost the lawsuit but has the library for eternity.
