Curse of the Hope Diamond

Is is possible for an object to be haunted? Can the energy of its previous owner(s) be contained within the object? Some would say that it is possible for an item to be possessed or cursed causing the owner physical harm. These same individuals believe that ordinary objects can also attract deceased souls, who perhaps, had a connection to it while they were alive.

The Hope Diamond is one such item which has a history of bad luck for all who owned it. Currently housed at the Smithsonian Institution, the diamond dates back to the 1600's. Legend states that Jean Baptiste Tavernier, a French merchant traveller, stole it from the statue of the Hindu goddess Sita. When the gem was discovered missing the Curse of The Hope Diamond was born-bringing ill fate to all who kept it in their possesion.

Most Paranormal's latest article provides a list of known owners and the tragiedies that occurred-coincidence? Check it out.
