Saskatchewan Crop Circle
On August 26th near St. Gregor, Saskatchewan, a crop circle was found in a wheat field. This discovery marks the first circular formation found in Canada for this year. Photos of the counter clockwise formation can been seen at the Canadian Crop Circle Research site.

What better place for a ghost to wander than in London's picturesque Highgate Cemetery?
Highgate Cemetery is one of the most well known cemeteries in perhaps all of England. In the late 1960's, this cemetery became the center of a media frenzy surrounding reports of a ghostly apparition seen by a number of witnesses. When it was reported that animals were found drained of their blood in the cemetery, the Legend of the Highgate Vampire was born.
The idea of an actual vampire lurking around in a cemetery is ridiculous. However, there have been a number of strange sightings going back to 1839 that have many convinced that this place is haunted.
Many locals, regardless of their belief in the paranormal, prefer to stay away from this creepy place.

Out-Of-Body Experiences
After reading the article Out-of-Body Experiences Tested in Lab I feel strongly that this phenomenon should continue to be studied. The study demonstrates how one can seemingly become disconnected from their body using video cameras. It did not explain the classic out-of-body experience that so many have reported in a clinical setting. I feel the media should not give this study credit as the sole explanation into the phenomenon. Nonetheless, the results deserve attention for what has been achieved.

The Philadelphia Experiment
In 1943 the U.S.S. Eldridge, a Navy escort destroyer, was fitted with tons of experimental electronic equipment to test Albert Einstein's "Unified Field Theory for Gravitation and Electricity". It was the hope of the U.S. Navy to use Einstein's research to develop a type of electronic camouflage on enemy radar for ships at sea.This first experiment took place at the Philadelphia Naval Yard with a full crew of men aboard the Eldridge. When the generators were turned on, scientists ashore along with elite Naval officers were in awe to see that a greenish fog surrounded the ship concealing it from view. When the fog cleared it became apparent that the ship had disappeared not only from radar view but, also became totally invisible to the observers. A number of minutes were allowed to pass before the generators were shut down and the ship finally reappeared. The crew were found sick and confused. They were taken off the ship and later replaced by a new crew for a second test.
In October of that same year, the final test on the Eldridge was performed out at sea. The electromagnetic field generators were once again turned on again, and the Eldridge became near-invisible. At first, only a faint outline of the hull remained visible in the water. Shortly after, a blinding blue flash appeared and the ship completely vanished. Within seconds it reappeared miles away, in Norfolk, Virginia, and was seen for several minutes by witnesses there. The Eldridge then quickly disappeared from Norfolk, and reappeared back in the Philadelphia Naval Yard. Something has gone terribly wrong. With the completion of the second test, most of the sailors were violently ill. A number of crew were gone never to be seen or heard from again and some suffered nervous breakdowns. The most disturbing find was that five members of the crew were found fused to the metal in the ship's structure.
Those surviving the Philadelphia Experiment were never the same again. What really took place on the U.S.S. Eldridge in 1943? Did the ship and its crew members experience time travel? According to the U.S. Navy the experiment never took place!

Would you consider this video footage of paranormal activity? For me there is too much going on here. The movement of these items seems to all be going towards the back of the room as if strings are attached. I think this is staged. Yet another fake. Does anyone out there have actual footage of paranormal activity anymore?

Los Roques UFO
Recently the internet has been a buzz over the "UFO" caught on film over Haiti. The Los Roques UFO is another video that has lots of people talking. In my opinion, it is just one more silly, well made hoax which is damaging to Ufology. I try not to give any attention to these videos, but I am a bit perturbed by this nonsense and needed to vent. Normally I would embed the video below, but I would rather not waste anymore space.

Patterson Bigfoot
The Patterson Bigfoot film has been a hotly debated subject for years. To date, skeptics have not been able to prove that what we are seeing is "nothing more then a man in an ape suit". A number of people from different organizations have tried to debunk the footage and failed.
I have seen a number of really bad videos online claiming to be authentic Bigfoot footage. In my opinion the Patterson Bigfoot film is authentic. What do you think?

Haunted Hostels
Here is a list of five haunted hostels from different parts of the world. If you don't mind sharing a room with strangers and, like the thrill of sleeping in haunted locations one of these hostels may be for you.
Foulksrath Castle, Kilkenny, Ireland- ghost of a girl believed to have been killed by her father is said to haunt the "Cookoo Nest" room. The BBC sent in a team of British ghost hunters and recorded a number of ghostly sounds with their equipment here.
USA Hostels, San Diego, USA- numerous paranormal activity has been reported in this hostel which was once a brothel in the 18th century.
HI-Ottawa Jail Hostel, Ottawa, Canada- Want to sleep in a jail cell? This former prison will give those a chance who stay here the opportunity to visit death row and the gallows. A man who was hung here is just one of the ghosts said to haunt the former cell blocks.
The Pirate Haus Inn and Hostel, St Augustine, Florida, USA- In the heart of America's oldest city lies this very haunted hostel. Reports of paranormal activity by staff members include objects moving and sometimes breaking for no reason. Room 6 is where strange "blue lights" have appeared to guests.
La Casa de las Brujas, Guanajuato, Mexico- Ghost of a girl named Susan resides here. Her death was quite tragic at this site and she is said to haunt this hostel.

Alien Abduction
In 1997, a family from Wales were driving home one evening when they found their car suddenly surrounded by a purple colored object which attached itself to their car. The UFO then released itself from the vehicle, and the family found themselves driving back on the Bodfair-Landemog highway. The family was left shaken and confused by what had experienced. This terrifying experience seemingly lasted only moments, but in reality hours had passed.

Kinross UFO Incident
On November 23, 1953, an F-89 Scorpion jet was scrambled from Kinross Air Force Base to intercept an unidentified object detected in restricted airspace over the Soo Locks in Michigan. Radar showed the U.S. fighter over Lake Superior merging with the unidentified craft that it was pursuing. Then, it suddenly disappeared from sight never to be seen again. That was, until 2005.

The Black Forest Haunting
Located northeast of Colorado Springs lies a heavily wooded area known as Black Forest. Within the thickest part of the forest sits a home on a 5 acre lot that has convinced local law enforcement, ghost hunters and a Hopi shaman that something supernatural resides there.
Back in the early 90's Steve and Beth Lee, along with their two sons, were renting a beautiful log home off of Swan Road. One year later, the family decided to purchase the home. According to the Lee's, this was when all hell broke loose. “One day we came home,” said Beth, “and it was like the Fourth of July in our living room and in our bedroom. We had all kinds of lights flashing through, and it sounded like people stomping across the roof. We would lay in bed at night and hear chains rattling. One night we woke up and heard orchestra music. Strange things started happening every day.” Numerous black shadows and orbs of light were witnessed throughout the home. The family regularly suffered burning eyes and throats from a mysterious chemical odor in the home.
The family installed a state-of-the-art security system to try and catch the presence in their home. The motion detectors would trip setting off the alarms, but each time there was no one physically there. Police were called to the property on a number of occasions, but each time they could find no evidence of a break in. Mr. Lee began filming the incredible activity on video recorders and film cameras. No matter what type of recording device was used the result was the same. Floating orbs of light, images of faces and outlines of animal and human figures were all captured.
A Hopi shaman was called to the property and said that the area is a "Rainbow Vortex"- an area that opens our world to the next. The popular show "Sightings" was also called in three times. They brought along the late psychic Peter James and Minneapolis ghostbuster Echo Bodine. The crew all had their own experiences while on site. Equipment moved and a number of strange images were captured by their cameras. Everyone concluded that there were very powerful forces on the property that deserved further investigating.

Psychic Peter James Dies
Peter James, who spoke to ghosts at a young age, died July 31 of heart attack.

Doors slamming, the sound of windows shutting, dark shadows passing by, disembodied voices and cold spots were some of the events one couple north of Toronto were experiencing on a regular basis in their rental home.
In the beginning, the couple stated that there was no activity and they enjoyed the quite that came from living outside of the city. They were happy to have finally found a place that 'felt like home'. Their peaceful rental home, which dated back to the 1800's, suddenly became alive with an abundance of paranormal activity. Afraid of being labeled crazy, they kept what they were experiencing from their landlord and only told their closest friends. With each occurrence, the paranormal activity became more threatening in nature and the couple could endure no more.
The couple lasted six months in their rental home before calling it quits and moving out. When the landlord asked why they were leaving she also questioned if it was because of all the strange things happening there. The landlord mentioned that "she too had a number of ghostly encounters while in the home and herself could not spend one night there." She feared losing prospective tenants and chose not to disclose what she knew.
After the couple left the landlord put the home up for sale.

UFO Sightings Prior to Tsunami!?!
I came across this interesting article which was written just days after the devastating tsunamis that spawned from the undersea earthquake in the Indiana Ocean.
An enormous number of UFO sightings before Tsunami and earthquake in South and Southeast Asia � were they trying to warn?
Was it a coincidence? Lots of people now from the Tsunami and earthquake hit areas are reporting about strange Unidentified Flying Objects they saw a few days before the mega quake and Tsunami. People in Indian state of Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar Island as well as many in Indonesia were reporting for some time about strange flying objects in the sky.
The local media in these areas did not know what to do with the reported sightings. But it seems now from the reports that many UFOs were in the sky and were trying to communicate something.
Some even are conjecturing that this horrific Tsunami and earthquake may be some kind of experiment. In Port Blair, the capital city of Andaman Island of India, last week some tourists saw strange silent flying objects. In Sumatra, remote places also had similar experiences for quite some time.
According to some UFO experts, UFOs always hover around the epicenter of major calamities. They somehow sense these coming natural disasters. Some believe that they try and communicate with us to warn. Some even believe these UFOs simulate natural disasters in the earth.
India especially in the Himalayas, China, Indonesia were experiencing heavy UFO sightings in recent days. Remote areas of Bangladesh, Mayanmar, and Andaman Island, Sri Lanka have also recently reported such sightings.
Indian Government and the military are quiet for a long time about these numerous UFO sightings. Some believe that India in recent days have been contacted like America was in the middle of the last century.
The recent excessive UFO sightings all over the world are forecasting serious disasters in the world. Many people believe, we are in for a rough time as far as earthquakes; volcano and similar natural calamities are concerned.
The lining up of Sun, Earth, Moon, Venus and Jupiter is dangerous. And this has caused some to belief that earthquakes can havoc the earth. As a matter of fact India has seen many earthquakes in last few months.
Earthquakes in India are not common like Japan.
It is possible that UFOs are trying to communicate to us to warn about the planetary positioning effects on the Earth�s tectonic plates and crust.
In older days, Mayans and Egyptians were always scared about planets lining up in one line. How did they know that earthquakes are eminent? It may be they did communicate with the extra-terrestrials and understood about planetary angular momentum theory that we just started learning this week!

Tour the East Coasts Most Haunted Penitentiary
By now most of us have heard about all the ghostly activity that has been reported from Eastern State Penitentiary. Recently I came across a site advertising a Haunted Overnight Tour.
The tour is scheduled for the night of November 17, 2007, and will last approximately 11 hours. If you have the money ($220 U.S/pp ), are in the area and interested in doing some paranormal investigating, this might be worth your time. The tour will be led by Wilson's Mysterious Maryland Tour Company. The all-night event will be broad casted live from the over two hundred year old prison via streaming video on the Internet.

Paranormal Hotspot-Cannock Chase
Located in central England, Cannock Chase is a large, dense woodland area where sightings of UFO's, Bigfoot-like creatures and phantom black dogs have all been reported for some time. Some believe this paranormal hotspot to be one of the many "portals" here on Earth where entities are able to come through onto our plane of existence. What ever the cause, one thing is for sure, the people who have had these encounters are left shaken by what they saw.
Recently a witness came forward to the local paper with her own frightening experience while driving through Cannock Chase. Below is the article that was published not long ago in the Chase Post.

A mysterious apparition confronted a local woman on a lonely stretch of road.
The unearthly figure has been dubbed 'The Lady of the Chase'.
In recent weeks there has been a rash of sightings of mysterious beasts on Cannock Chase.
If these reports are to be believed werewolves, cavemen, panthers and wolves could all be lurking on the Staffordshire beauty spot.
And as paranormal investigators from around the globe prepare to converge on the Chase, another eyewitness, 'Linda', has come forward to tell us her disturbing ghost story.
"I had what I can only describe as a totally surreal experience whilst driving across Cannock Chase last year," she said.
"I had not been able to tell anyone about this apart from my partner.
And he encouraged me to contact you following some of the reports you have made in your paper."
Linda was returning home after visiting a friend in Pye Green, near Cannock, last November when she was confronted by 'the lady'.
"It was about 11.30pm and I decided to cut across the Chase. As I neared Spring Slade Lodge I had to brake hard as a person suddenly stood in the road."
After Linda recovered from the shock of the near collision she turned her attention to the figure in front of her car.
"In my headlights the form was of a tall female, pale grey in colour. She appeared to be naked but with no visible breasts or genitalia.
"Immediately, I was drawn to her eyes - large hypnotic eyes that totally transfixed me. I was in dread and unable to move a muscle. I was aware I was being 'mentally examined' and there was nothing I could do to prevent this."
After a couple of minutes the figure turned and walked away into nearby woodland.
"It was only when she had disappeared that I could move again," Linda said. "I accelerated away in panic."
She told us she has not been able to drive across Cannock Chase since the incident and added: "Sometimes, after a dream, I can see a vivid image of the woman's face with those staring eyes. I'm not a very good artist, but felt compelled to draw the face of this figure. I call her 'The Lady of the Chase'. Has anyone else seen anything like this?" Have YOU seen The Lady of the Chase? After Linda recovered from the shock of the near collision she turned her attention to the figure in front of her car.
"In my headlights the form was of a tall female, pale grey in colour. She appeared to be naked but with no visible breasts or genitalia.
"Immediately, I was drawn to her eyes - large hypnotic eyes that totally transfixed me. I was in dread and unable to move a muscle. I was aware I was being 'mentally examined' and there was nothing I could do to prevent this."
After a couple of minutes the figure turned and walked away into nearby woodland.
"It was only when she had disappeared that I could move again," Linda said. "I accelerated away in panic."
She told us she has not been able to drive across Cannock Chase since the incident and added: "Sometimes, after a dream, I can see a vivid image of the woman's face with those staring eyes. I'm not a very good artist, but felt compelled to draw the face of this figure. I call her 'The Lady of the Chase'. Has anyone else seen anything like this?" Have YOU seen The Lady of the Chase? Ghostly Figure Captured on Film
In this video, a ghostly image was captured on film in a park in Cucuta, South America. A local news station aired what was captured on film. I was unable to find the English version, but the footage seen here speaks for itself. There are two other short clips at the end of this video showing a man in an office disappear on camera (which doesn't look paranormal to me) and lastly a black mist in a cemetery in the shape of a figure.

Parallel Universes
In recent years, scientists have began taking a more serious approach to the possibility of parallel universes. In the past, Einstein and other scientists had this same speculation.
Scientists also believe that within these parallel universes "there may be doorways or "portals" in certain areas that allow entities to travel into our dimension. These entities may be spirits, demons, extraterrestrials, or something we have never even imagined. Well-known hauntings, that persist over long time spans, are likely candidates as portals - as opposed to sites that have been the location of an isolated or otherwise unconnected violent death or tragic accident to which the haunting can be fairly easily traced. Many old Indian burial grounds seem to act as portals, for reasons unknown, other than the Indians consciously located their burial grounds in places that they felt were close to the after-death realm. How they determined which sites fit this criteria is lost knowledge, but a disproportionate number of these "sacred burial grounds" are known hotspots for paranormal activity. Other non-Indian cemeteries are also suspected portal sites, probably for the same reasons - either consciously or unconsciously, the site chosen for the burials was already the site of a portal.
It appears that portals are at fixed places all over the world, and that they don't move or drift from place to place. Whether new portals open up from time to time is unclear, but this definitely warrants further study. Controlled studies done around suspected portals have revealed that there are definite temperature fluctuations in the vicinity of the site. Photographs taken at suspected sites often produce amazing results, and reveal mists, orbs, light streaks, figures, and even saucer-shaped objects - all of which are unseen by the bystanders at the scene, though many do report feeling cold chills. People who are more sensitive report that they get a feeling of "magnetism" at suspected portal sites, and often report that they sense large numbers of entities passing back and forth - which is unusual in an ordinary haunting."
